Information is everywhere and it is obvious that it influences people and especially children that find themselves in the ocean of information. And the rise of the information amount starts to threaten the development of healthy and well-developed personality as there is a lot of information about violence, sex, crime, etc. that makes the child rude, reserved, it stops respecting parents, the world and other children. But at the same time it is impossible to refuse from it as it is impossible to isolate information as children get knowledge thanks to it.
Of course speaking about children and information the first thing we remember is internet as nowadays it is the main source of information. Yes of course it keeps thousands of sites filled with information on the most different topics that makes the process of studying easier and maybe not so efficient. Children don't have to spend hours in libraries because they have the possibility to find any book in the internet or at least to scan the book that the library has.
Usually the word combination "children and internet" is used in negative meaning considering that the child may see a lot of prohibited things in the internet that may influence its psyche and behaviour. But the child is much smarter than we are and it considers everything better sometimes experiencing the same in real life. But it is not the reason to put limits to the source of information which has no analogues. When children are born they start to get to know the world, investigating it and internet is one of the greatest ways to do that.
